Family - Married to Glenda Odegaard(Behnke) for over 17 years. We have six children and nine grandchildren. Van and Carol Odegaard are my parents. Nick Odegaard, brother; Rene Collins, sister all are in Flagstaff. Vicki Odegaard, Tammy Odegaard, Kristen Calwell, sisters.
Education - Flagstaff High School graduate. Attended Northern Arizona University until the family business became a priority.
Work - I'm third generation small business owner of Odegaard's Sewing Center for over 30 years. Odegaard's Sewing Center has been serving Flagstaff since 1969. Odegaard's is a thriving and growing business that serves all of northern Arizona.
Volunteer - I served on the Flagstaff Water Commission before I was elected on the City Council in 2016, I was the Vice-Chairman. I would like to see reclaim water use expanded, so we can make sure our drinking water will be sufficient for generations! As a City Councilmemeber I serve as the liaison to several Commissions and Committees: Beautification and Public Art Commission, Transportation Commission,Heritage Preservation Commission, and the Audit Committee.
I'm a Board Member for The Arboretum at Flagstaff, Northern Arizona Veteran's Cemetery Foundation Board Member, Scout Pack 33 Committee Member, and volunteers at the Family Food Center and Golden Rule Charities-The Pantry.
Church - Shepherd of the Hills Lutheran Church where I serve on Council in several capacities including being the church president for two years.
Hobby - I have sled dogs that I use for recreation and compete in local sled dog events. I'm the race director for the Flagstaff Sled Dog Races at Mormon Lake Lodge for the last several years.Contact Charlie Odegaard
